Vessel Position Monitoring Service
The Iridium VMS service uses a low Earth orbit satellite communication system consisting of about 66 satellites in polar orbit, providing global voice and data communication coverage. It enables stable satellite communication even in areas unreachable by terrestrial networks, such as polar regions, open oceans, and remote locations. This system is widely used for tracking the location of vessels and patrol boats at sea, as well as for emergency communication and data transmission.
Wichi-20 Position Transmitter
The Wichi-20 antenna is manufactured in compliance with the RFMO and FFA approved standards to prevent IUU fishing. Its key features include a case opening alert device to prevent location tampering, blackout functionality for vessels, a low-explosion-risk lithium iron phosphate battery capable of independently transmitting location data for over 100 hours in emergency situations, and a specially designed satellite location transmitter that can send and receive small amounts of data bidirectionally.
