Custom-developed mobile application that fulfills the reporting obligations required by international bodies (RFMOs), Korea’s Fisheries Monitoring Center, National Institute of Fisheries Science, and National Fishery Products Quality Management Service—designed with user-friendly content and interface.
Position reporting, port entry/exit notifications, daily fishing reports, real-time satellite messaging, emergency signaling, EEZ approach, and intrusion alerts.
Applied to all Korean distant-water vessels and support vessels, including longliners, bottom longliners, purse seiners, trawlers, squid jiggers, and stow net vessels.
Satellite Communication Router
Korea’s distant-water fishing vessels are mandated by international law (RFMOs) and the Korean Distant-Water Fisheries Development Act to report their positions. Vessels operate both low-cost Iridium and Inmarsat-D satellite positioning devices and fishing activity reporting systems simultaneously.
Converts the serial communication method (Only) from satellite positioning devices into mobile-based wireless (Wi-Fi) communication onboard. Offers functions such as satellite signal status, data transmission logs, and emergency alerts.
